What an amazing day it has been!  Thanks be to God for the privilege of taking 5 Compassion Registration Forms to FedEx today, which means 5 new sponsors for children on the outskirts of Gitarama, Rwanda. :)   I am rejoicing and thanking the Lord for His provision for these boys and girls.  Also, I am so grateful for friends at Church who will be building lasting relationships with the children through their financial support and letters.

Today we received our first letter from Thierry, age 5,  new little boy we sponsor with the Shyogwe Compassion Project in Rwanda.  Thierry has a mother and father, as well as a 2 yr. old sister.  They depend on agriculture to sustain their family.  Thierry's favorite color is yellow and he likes trucks.  Each time I read his letter it makes me smile!  The letters are written in Kinyarwandan and translated into English.  The amazing thing is I am beginning to understand the Kinyarwandan which is being written by the Compassion staff.  This is encouraging for me as I continue to learn the language.  When I go to the mailbox and see a letter from one of our Compassion children, my heart leaps for joy!

I have the packets for 2 more children in need of sponsors and I am praying with hopeful expectation that God will provide for these precious children.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
